Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 170˚C and grease or line your air fryer basket.
  2. Peel the apples and chop into small chunks then place into the air fryer basket along with the blackberries, caster sugar, and water and mix.
  3. Cook for 10 minutes then stir and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  4. While the fruit cooks use your fingers to rub the butter into the flour, oats, and sugar to make the crumble topping.
  5. When the apples have softened top with the crumble mixture and cook for 10-15 minutes until golden.
  6. Serve warm topped with custard or ice cream.
